Patrons of the Performing Arts (PPA) is a parent volunteer support group for band, choir, dance,
drama, orchestra, speech and technical theater. Founded in 1984, PPA donates upwards of
$100,000 each year to support the fine arts programs at WHS. They provide uniforms, music,
cover travel expenses, sets for plays, fees for competitions and much more. PPA also focuses
on capital campaigns to improve and replace outdated equipment at WHS. in the past 5 years
they have purchased a Steinway piano, replaced seating in both the Auditorium and Little
Theater and are currently working to replace all the lighting in both theaters. Volunteers plan,
organize and host all of the performing arts events. These events give students incredible
opportunities to share their talents and grow their skill sets. All events (large and small) require
