Washington High School, in partnership with families, provides a safe and orderly climate in which students may strive for academic excellence, participate in a variety of co-curricular activities, and celebrate the diverse cultures which comprise our community.
Washington offers 25 Advanced Placement (AP) courses to its students. AP courses are college courses taught in high school and are considered the “gold standard” of the high school curriculum in America. Our school also offers five world languages including French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. Many elective courses in art, business education, computer science, family and consumer science, music, and technology enhance the rigorous courses in the core areas of language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and world languages.
